In April 2024, a major water leak caused significant flooding throughout the GoFarm offices in Cremorne, saturating 150m² of carpet tiles and disrupting operations. The Squeaky Clean Team was called in to provide immediate water damage mitigation and ensure the property was restored quickly and effectively, minimizing downtime for the business.
Phase One: Immediate Water Extraction and Drying
Our team responded promptly, manually extracting water from the affected area using buckets and a carpet water extraction machine, as the space was inaccessible to larger truck-mounted systems.
On the first day, 15 air movers and 6 dehumidifiers were deployed throughout the offices to accelerate the drying process. By day two, additional equipment was installed, bringing the total to 16 air movers and 7 dehumidifiers.
Phase Two: Monitoring and Completion
The drying process was monitored daily to ensure optimal results, and equipment was repositioned as needed to address any remaining moisture. After five days, the carpet tiles and subfloor were fully dried to acceptable standards.
To complete the restoration, the carpet tiles were steam cleaned throughout the office space, leaving the premises fresh, clean, and ready for reoccupation.
